Maryann graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors degree in Journalism and a Marketing/Management minor.
After 13 years in Atlanta Broadcast Media, Maryann set her career aside to become a stay-at-home Mom. She returned to the business world when her children were grown, choosing to work at Marriott Vacation Club.
Maryann left her position as Marketing Supervisor at Marriott in 2013 to support her husband’s financial firm as Branch Administrator. Glenn and Maryann opened Way Capital Management in April of 2016, and joined Advisory Services Network in 2019. In November of 2019 Maryann sat for and passed the Series 65 Licensing Exam and became a Private Wealth Advisor.
Many Islanders may remember the “Dog Cookie” business Maryann started, Island Dog Bakery. Maryann still loves to bake, but now the lucky recipients are people, not pets. When not at Way Capital Management Maryann enjoys travel, paddling, photography, and, of course, Georgia Football.
